Babolat Pure Drive tennis racket has been specifically designed for players wanting the perfect blend of power and feel. Features include: GT technology - carbon fibres and tungsten filaments are braided together to make a hybrid material which is placed in the core of the racket to provide strength and greater stability. Tungsten is also strategically placed in the frame to provide 10% greater energy recovery and greater power. Elliptic Geometry frame design which is 20% stiffer than a tradition frame reducing torsional movement and providing more power. Cortex Pure Feel - a new material has been integrated into the graphite of the racket at the throat which increases vibration dampening, provides incredible sound and direct feel during the game. FSI Power - diamond shape grommets combined with a new string pattern provide an increased sweetspot over the width of the racket to maximise power on every shot. Racket is supplied strung and without cover.
Better vibration dampening thanks to a
new material integrated in the graphite
of the racket that provides an incredible
sound and a pure feel.

Babolat the best racket for me
Nice racket, only played with it once and it felt good. Upgrade from a Dunlop 200G Muscleweave - wanted something a bit lighter with a bigger head size as my playing has decreased in accuracy :( Played well and gave me the improvements I was looking for. Knocked a star off as although I ordered a handle size 4 it seems larger than other size 4 handles (I think maybe the end cap is a bit bulkier too). I got it strung at 55lbs with Babolat RPM Blast 130/16 Tennis String, it felt a bit too 'stiff' for me and may drop the weight slightly at the next restring - cant blame the racket for that! I meant to order the 315g version but wasn't paying attention ... I cant say the weight is causing me any problems though and again not the rackets fault I ordered wrong ... maybe just pay more attention than I did!
